On February 19, we received the management committee of Lean & Green at the facilities that Carreras Grupo Logístico has in Masquefa (Barcelona), a model logistics center in which we are implementing an innovative sustainable ecosystem.
During the course of the commission, we showed all members the implementation of our hydrogen project, which has an internal and an external aspect.
Internal mobility project. A collaborative project with Plug Power and Toyota Material Handling consisting of an H2 supply system and handling equipment (forklifts) powered by H2. During the visit, we showed the success story and the feasibility of using this technology at an operational level, increasing productivity and achieving the reliability required in a logistics centre of these characteristics.
External mobility project. Carreras Grupo Logístico also showed the start of its external mobility pilot linked to the use of hydrogen in its long-distance distribution vehicles, of which we will give more details shortly.
