- Carreras participates in the SICHOCK project that has just begun its second phase, to guarantee the traceability of data in real time using new technologies
Carreras Grupo Logístico, together with SIGNOS New Technologies, WE Logistics, ARALOGIC, TECNARA Clusters and ALIA, has participated in the SICHOCK project that focuses on the validation and option of a smart chock with IoT technology, designed to increase safety in truck loading and unloading operations.
This innovative system, connected to a digital platform, prevents unforeseen vehicle movements, guaranteeing the safety of workers and companies, as well as optimising resources and reducing risks.
This phase will include the possibility of carrying out side loading and unloading of trucks, eliminating the need for a loading dock and allowing the intelligent chock system to operate completely autonomously.
The project, with an investment of € 180,621.00 financed within the framework of the aid for Innovative Business Groups of the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, stands out for its ability to integrate advanced technologies, such as IoT sensors, cloud platforms and wireless communication, in a practical and accessible system for companies in the sector.
“SICHOCK Phase II allows us not only to increase security in logistics operations, but also to integrate new technologies to ensure real-time data traceability. This is a step towards the full digitalisation of processes, increasing transparency and trust throughout the supply chain.”
The objective of this project is to develop a smart chock with mobile connectivity and advanced sensors, together with a digital platform that manages and monitors critical data from logistics operations. This will ensure safety during loading and unloading tasks, optimize resources and reduce the risks associated with these activities.
