Carreras Grupo Logístico continues to make progress in its growth and modernisation strategy with the incorporation of 118 new Renault Trucks T High tractors, vehicles designed for long-distance transport that combine efficiency, power and comfort, reinforcing safety and sustainability.
This operation, closed with Renault Trucks, includes the delivery of the 118 units throughout 2026. The new units correspond to the Renault Trucks T High T4x2 model, equipped with a 13-litre diesel engine and Optidriver automated gearbox, designed to optimise performance on long-distance routes.
The delivery of these units has been carried out by Agón Truck Centers, official distributor of Renault Trucks, reinforcing a relationship of proximity and continuous accompaniment in the evolution of the Carreras fleet.
These vehicles have an engine aimed at maximizing efficiency on the road, Optivision technology, topographic maps that anticipate the profile of the route, optimizing gear changes, reducing emissions and increasing driving smoothness.
In turn, these tractors incorporate optimised power steering to reduce the vehicle’s energy consumption, helping to improve overall efficiency in daily operations.
The incorporation of these new tractors is part of Carreras’ firm commitment to sustainability and decarbonisation, through investment in more efficient vehicles from an energy and technological point of view.
Thus, Carreras continuously promotes both the safety of its employees and the digitalisation of its operations, integrating intelligent solutions that optimise routes and improve traceability and logistics control.
In parallel to the renewal of the fleet, Carreras maintains a priority focus on the development of its professionals, promoting continuous training programs for drivers aimed at safe and efficient driving.
For Carreras, “These initiatives contribute to improving road safety and also to optimising the use of vehicles, reducing fuel consumption and emissions, in line with the company’s sustainability objectives”.
