Using the app
We automatically collect data about the use of CarrerasPOD. While the carrier is using the app, it sends the location of the device where the app is installed to our servers. This information is used only to locate the merchandise. Once you’ve finished your work and all pending information has been sent to our servers, the app won’t collect the location until the next time you use it again. Background location is vital to make proper use of the app. From the application, the routes that are being carried out are managed and for this we need to geolocate the device to know where the goods are. For our employees, it is essential to know the location of the goods en route, to plan their work and also to give our customers more information about their deliveries. For Carreras Grupo Logístico it is very important to ensure a route without incidents, being able to attend to any emergency in relation to both the driver and the goods.Collection of your personal information
CarrerasPOD may collect personally identifiable information, such as your name, ID, or vehicle license plates. It may also collect information such as location, IP address, device model, and access times. This information is used by Carreras Grupo Logístico for the operation of the service, to maintain the quality of the service and to provide general statistics on the use of the mobile application. Carreras Grupo Logístico will only make use of the data collected for the development of the logistics activity. Careers Group Logistics wants you to review the privacy statements of the applications so that you can understand how they collect, use and share your information. Carreras Grupo Logístico is not responsible for privacy statements or other content that are outside of CarrerasPOD and the rest of Grupo Carreras’ applications. Currently, the following permissions are requested from the application.-
Access to storage
o Write: To be able to temporarily save on your device the photographs taken with the phone’s camera to be sent as an incident in the application
o Reading: To be able to attach a photograph to an incident from the device’s image gallery.

Camera access
Necessary to take photographs from the device’s camera and attach it to an incident that is made from the mobile application, for the safety of transport, including the contractual safety of the driver. -
Location
To be able to obtain the coordinates of the vehicle transporting the cargo and thus be able to plan and monitor the state of the route and its delivery notes.
