Carreras, through its Carreras Forwarders division, has obtained the Efficiency Network certification, the quality mark promoted by the Port of Barcelona to recognise companies and administrations that guarantee the highest standards of efficiency, transparency and safety in the port logistics chain.
Obtaining this seal certifies that Carreras complies with the operational quality commitments defined by the program, aimed at strengthening the competitiveness and sustainability of the port logistics system, as well as ensuring more reliable and transparent processes for customers.
The objective of the Efficiency Network certification is to ensure:
- Reliability in logistics operations
- Information, transparency and traceability in processes
- Safety in the handling of goods
The program has the participation of key agencies such as Customs, the Border Inspection Services, SOIVRE and the Maritime Captaincy.
To become certified, companies must meet measurable and verifiable standards, assessed through a detailed audit. Among the different parameters that the Port of Barcelona takes into account to grant this certification are: compliance with operational deadlines, guaranteeing the improvement of processes or the commitments of the companies evaluated. Carreras Forwarders has satisfactorily passed this evaluation, complying with the parameterized quality levels and achieving the values required in each of the commitments considered.
