The CEDE Foundation-Spanish Confederation of Directors and Executives has presented its annual awards within the framework of the XXIV CEDE Congress of Managers, which this year is held in Aragon and has Zaragoza as its host venue. The ceremony, held at the City Hall of the Aragonese capital, brought together prominent business leaders and institutional representatives.
The awards recognise the contribution of companies, organisations and leaders in key areas such as social commitment, business development and innovation. Among the winners are Heraldo de Aragón, Grupo Jorge, Fersa Bearings, Sesé, Libelium, Fundación Federico Ozanam, Grupo Empresarial Costa, Grupo SAMCA and Grupo Carreras.
One of the highlights was the presentation of the Business Career Award to Miguel Carreras, president of Grupo Carreras, for his transformative role in turning the family business into a national and international benchmark in the logistics sector. Its commitment to reinvestment, diversification and social commitment has left an indelible mark on the industry. The award was presented by Natalia Chueca, mayor of Zaragoza.
This recognition marks the beginning of the XXIV CEDE Congress of Executives, which brings together national and international leaders, managers and businessmen today at the Princesa Leonor Auditorium in Zaragoza to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the future of business.
